Marketing Tips and Strategies
I have a few carefully selected articles written by some good authors that I will be posting here over the next few months. These will be focused on general marketing issues that any small business owner will benefit from whether you are a seasoned entrepreneur or a new business start up.
Some of my favorite marketing authors and experts will be featured in the ‘marketing tips’ category… Can you see the category list in the right hand column? Yep… right there.
I cannot stress enough the importance of a sound marketing strategy for your business start-up. You cannot afford to fail at marketing your business. Unless, of course, your back-up plan is to retreat backwards to the average workforce or Corporate America and surrender the dream of self-employment… all because you failed to take your marketing seriously! Blah. Please delete that thought.
Do Not Make This Mistake.
Read all the books you can on marketing, selling, and presentation skills. Develop and mold yourself into a capable and formidable marketing expert in your field of expertise. If you do this, I guarantee you will succeed in just about any business endeavor. It’s that critical!

For centuries the only high quality rugs available were produced from wool and silk yarns. This was, and in some countries still is, all woven and tufted by hand. In industrialized nations these production methods have evolved. Now manufacturers are using advanced tufting guns that rapidly inject the yarn into the backing. Welcome to the launch of our new weblog.
Our intention here is to create a much needed resource center for our trainees and those of you looking into our business start-up offerings. We expect to share articles, marketing tips, sales presentation strategies, as well as delve into all sorts of topics related to business ownership like preparing a business plan and seeking out business start-up financing.
This is a Business Opportunity. It’s a unique and very creative business opportunity. It can also be a lucrative business opportunity. The rugs that we teach you how to make can sell for thousands and even in the tens of thousands of dollars.
It’s a fast paced start up business. It is not only possible, but highly likely that you will recover your initial investment within 6 months. I know this for a fact because that’s exactly the path that I traveled when I launched my own Carpet Sculpture business 15 years ago.
Our custom rug making business is Mastercraft Carpet Makers. We have a couple of profitable websites that focus on niche markets selling custom rugs. We have identified at least 9 of these markets and several of these markets have multiple niche markets within.
There’s still a lot of room for growth!
We will be releasing a special report on these markets soon.
We’ll touch on some of our past success stories, and even a few of our mistakes. All said with the good intention of sharing.
Comments are always welcome.
That’s the purpose of this weblog: to make it easy for a dialog to flow and to allow direct feedback. There are filters in place, because unfortunately blogs attract a ton of spam. There may be slight delays before your comments appear live. Without these filters in place it can be a real chore to sift through and locate legitimate posts / comments.
Cheers and good health to you,
